There are very few original movies from that time period that I could use as an example. BUT, I found a great “designer vistion of 1920’s” in the British BBC television series The House of Eliott. The costume designs are from Joan Wadge and James Keast.
The costumes are really magnificent and with following awards:
BAFTA TV Award Winner for Best Costume Design (1992) – Joan Wadge
Emmy Award Nomination for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Costume Design for a Miniseries or a Special (1993) – Joan Wadge
Emmy Award Winner for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Costume Design for a Series (1994) – Joan Wadge
CableACE Awards Won the Best Costume Design (1994) – James Keast
CableACE Awards Nominated for the Best Costume Design (1995) – Joan Wadge
